Krista Jane Lauer is the founder of Krista Lauer Consulting, where she supports philanthropic organizations in their pursuit of the advancement of health and rights.
She previously served as project director of the Global Health Financing Initiative of the Open Society Foundations (OSF), where she utilized grant-making and other philanthropic tools to leverage funds in support of the health and human rights of socially excluded populations.
Prior to her time at OSF, she was the senior policy advisor at the Global Forum on MSM & HIV (MSMGF). In addition to policy and advocacy work at the UNAIDS Programme Coordinating Board (PCB), the UN General Assembly ,and U.S. Congress, her programmatic experience includes implementing HIV, TB, malaria, and maternal and child health programs in Benin and Zambia.
She has served as alternate member of the Private Foundations Delegation to the Board of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria.
