API Equality Summer Fundraising Campaign
Asian-Pacific Islander Equality Northern California (APIENC) invites you to join their grassroots fundraising efforts to support their programming for the rest of the year, including Dragon Fruit Project, Leadership Development, and the Trans Justice Initiative. APIENC will provide effective fundraising tips, strategies, and skill-building, plus you can get to know even more radical queer and trans API folks!

AIDS/Lifecycle Rest Stop
AIDS/Lifecycle will be hosting a Hawaiian-themed rest stop at the Marin Century on August 5th, so think flower leis, bright colors, and parrots 🙂 It is a ton of fun and a great way to connect with the community. Volunteers are needed for setup, operations, and breakdown.

REAF Help is on the Way XXIII Gala
The Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation (REAF) is holding its star-studded 23rd annual Help is on the Way Gala on August 20th, benefiting Meals on Wheels and Positive Resource Center. The Gala will feature performances from Grammy Award-winning Broadway star Maureen McGovern, American Idol 2016 winner Trent Harmon, Tony Award-winner Levi Kreis, and many more. Join the volunteer team and be a part of this phenomenal production!

Pacific Center is seeking folks who wish to become trained facilitators for the following groups: “T.A.G. – Transitional Age Group” – A welcoming and confidential monthly drop-in peer support group for any LGBTQ youth, ages 18-26; and “Partners of Trans* & Gender Non-Conforming Folk” – A peer group for partners, boyfriends, girlfriends, spouses, husbands, wives, etc. of individuals who identify on the transmasculine OR transfeminine spectrum. Facilitators should identify as members of these groups.

Project Assistant, PRIDE Study
The PRIDE Study is the first large-scale, long-term health study of people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ), or another sexual or gender minority. The PRIDE Study is looking for a Project Assistant who will be responsible for maintaining and implementing systems that support the smooth logistical functioning of all program activities.

The Pacific Center for Human Growth fosters and enhances the well-being and self respect of LGBTQ youth, seniors, and adults through the delivery of LGBTQ competent mental health and wellness services, and through the cultivation of a strong community of LGBTQ-proficient mental health care professionals. The Pacific Center currently seeks interns to fill two positions:
Intern role includes working with Operations Manager to improve efficiency and accessibility of PC’s social media presence, outreach with local businesses, gathering of survey data and report compilation, Outreach to public at community events, assist with city and county reporting, assist in the production and distribution of promotional material.
Grant Writing/Development Intern, Pacific Center
Intern role includes work with Youth Program, Peer Support Groups & Older Adult services to identify grant fundraising opportunities, create a grant reporting schedule, gathering of survey data and report compilation, complete grant applications for a variety of programs, assist with city and county reporting, compile and submit grant reporting data.
