It's February in the Bay, and you know what that means...

But don't let the weather get you down! We've got six new ways for you to volunteer queer.

 
 

Suit up with Lesbians Who Tech at their upcoming Summit, chow down at the Rainbow Community Center's annual Crab Feed, or join Peaches Christ for the upcoming live drag production of Mean Gays!

San Francisco: Peaches Christ proudly presents Mean Gays, an all-new drag parody starring Kim Chi, Willam, Laganja Estranja and Peaches Christ herself. Showing for one day only in SF on February 23, volunteers who support the matinee and evening production get tickets to the sold-out show for free! More info!

San Francisco: Lesbians Who Tech is looking for volunteers for their upcoming Summit at the iconic Castro Theater in SF on February  28 - March 2! Skills wanted in production, social media, merchandise sales, or anything else that would make the summit great! More info!


East Bay: The Rainbow Community Center of Contra Costa is back with its wildly popular annual Crab Feedfundraiser! Taking place March 2, the event features an all-you-can-eat crab feast accompanied by fabulous entertainment. Volunteers needed for setup, breakdown, and food service.

East Bay: The Oakland Gay Men’s Chorus is the most active and well-known Gay Arts organization in Oakland. The Oakland Gay Men's Chorus is seeking a volunteer to manage their box office at one or more of their concert events. Learn more here!


San Francisco: The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are celebrating their 40th anniversary and hosting their famous annual Easter in the Park on April 21st! Featuring the legendary Hunky Jesus contest, Easter in the Park is an SF tradition. Volunteers are needed for setup, parking monitors, and cleanup.

San Francisco: PRC's Client Services team for AIDS Emergency Fund urgently needs volunteers for weekday office shifts. Shift times are 10:00 am-12:30 pm and/or 1:30-4:00 pm any weekday. Volunteers will help record client intake information, answer phones, and do filing.  Learn more!
