Queer Spring Break 2019 is here!

Those of you who follow TurnOut will remember that we launched a Queer Spring Break pilot last year with one high school and one college.

Students got a chance to spend their spring break learning queer history, volunteering at queer organizations, and meeting with queer activists at the leading edge of urgent issues facing our communities.

We're excited to announce that the program is back, and this year it's open to ALL STUDENTS!

From Tuesday March 26 - Wednesday March 27, students will spend two full days exploring the history and current state of LGBTQ+ community work in San Francisco.

Visit the GLBT Historical Society's archives, meet a founding member of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, serve lunch to LGBTQ+ elders at Openhouse, and much more - all while meeting students from schools across the area!

Interested folks can sign up on our BRAND NEW WEBSITE here! We only have space for about 15 students, so sign up quickly to reserve a spot!

Questions? Feel free to respond to this email or write jack@turnout.org.

Thank you so much! We hope to see you out there!
