Check out eight new opportunities to volunteer with amazing queer organizations below. Some opportunities are taking place this weekend, so don't dilly-dally! Check them out and sign up now!



San Francisco: Eye Zen is hosting a Salon and fundraiser to support their second season of immersive queer history walking tours focused on SOMA. Explore the roots of Leather culture, Lesbian bars, and the labor movement that made SOMA contested land for over a century. April 28th! Learn more and sign up to volunteer at the Salon!

San Francisco: REVIVAL is a bi-monthly dance party by and for HIV positive long-term survivors. The event is a super fun community dance with a light dinner and talent show, created so that no one is a stranger and no one is alone. Coming up on April 27th, volunteers needed for setup, food service, and breakdown! Learn more and sign up!

San Francisco: The Center for Asian American Media is hosting CAAMFest, the largest celebration of Asian and Asian American film, music and food taking place May 9-19. Featuring LEITIS IN WAITING, an award-winning documentary on gender fluidity in Tonga, and two special showings of LGBTQ+ shorts! Learn more and sign up to volunteer at the festival!

Oakland / Bay Area: The LGBTQ+ Perinatal Wellness Center is a grassroots, interdisciplinary collaborative of trusted LGBTQ+ identified wellness providers. They are in the process of seeking 501c3 nonprofit status and are seeking pro bono legal support. They are also seeking someone with a background in finance and/or accounting to serve as board treasurer


San Francisco: Thrill Spot is a historical walking tour that tells the story of the 1954 raid on Tommy's Place - lurid headlines claiming seduction of teenage girls in a lesbian “Vice Academy,” swaggering butches, police graft, political intrigue, and angry legions marshalled by the PTA. Volunteers needed as safety guides! San Francisco: Positive Being is dedicated to improving the quality of life for those living with HIV through healing touch. They are looking for a photographer to join them at the Atmosqueer Queer Health Fair on May 5th (1-5PM) to photograph them in action providing their services to patrons and to take a formal photo of the board for their website. Learn more and sign up!


Berkeley & Alameda: The Oakland Gay Men's Chorus is looking for volunteers to help out at their 20th Anniversary concerts on May 18 in Berkeley and May 19 in Alameda. Opportunities include ushering, working at the box office, and serving refreshments. Volunteers can see the majority of the show for free! Learn more and sign up!
