Out In Tech - Become a Mentor!
Become a Mentor!
OUT IN TECH
Out in Tech is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that unites the LGBTQ+ tech community. We do this by creating opportunities for our 25,000 members to advance their careers, grow their networks, and leverage tech for social change.
Out in Tech SF is launching an Ambassadors Program this Fall.
Ambassadors are a select group of volunteers that will work with the OIT SF Leadership Team as we expand in the Bay Area.
You will help guide the vision of the SF chapter, ensure our events are successful, engage your networks, and join a supportive and inclusive community of Out in Tech volunteers.
The program is designed to support those who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community as they begin their careers in technology. Anyone is welcome to apply to be a mentor (you don't need to be a developer or identify as LGBTQ+). Those selected to participate will be paired with a mentee who is developing their career in technology. Mentors should be prepared to assist their mentee with career development, technical training, and/or professional networking.
Apply by August 14th.
