Positive Resource Center

Recently, Positive Resource Center has merged with the AIDS Emergency Fund and Baker Places to form PRC, a San Francisco-based nonprofit whose mission is to help people affected by HIV/AIDS, substance use, or mental health issues better realize opportunities by providing integrated legal, social, and health services that address the broad range of social risk factors that impact wellness and limit potential.

Getting Involved

PRC could not run without the loyal and generous support of our volunteers! Volunteers contribute approximately 12,000 hours per year — the equivalent of six full-time staff. Volunteer opportunities include administrative office project support, Client Services Volunteer, Beer Bust fundraisers, and the Bare Chest Calendar program. Volunteers also staff fundraising events such as Academy of Friends, AIDS Walk, Pride Brunch, Up Your Alley and Folsom Street Fairs, Help is on the Way, REAL BAD, and Songs of the Season.
