Diversionary Theatre believes that theatrical institutions have a sacred responsibility to be of service to the communities they engage with; and to do so in a way that is meaningful. With the reproductive rights of many people around this country on the verge of being stripped away, it’s clear to them that the need to come together and support is as urgent now as it has ever been. To that end, they are hosting a fundraiser to support different organizations assisting those folks in the most high-needs areas.
The fundraiser will kick off at 12pm with performances & speakers scattered throughout the afternoon and local craft artisans selling & showcasing their work! Including headliners – The Sue Palmer Quartet – who start their set at 4:30, and speaker Jen LaBarbera, Director of Education & Advocacy at San Diego Pride!
They are looking for volunteers to come throughout the event to help sign people in, direct them around the event, and overall ensure the event runs smoothly. Help support this incredible cause by signing up below!
