Supporting LGBTQI+ Newcomers in California Webinar

Join for an important virtual conversation with Rainbow Railroad and TurnOut, two organizations working at the forefront of mobilizing LGBTQI+ volunteers for important local causes.

TurnOut is an California-based nonprofit which powers intersectional movements for liberation using volunteer engagement, grassroots fundraising, and mutual aid strategies. Chapters currently exist in Orange County, the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, and San Diego.

Rainbow Railroad supports LGBTQI+ individuals facing persecution, discrimination, and forced displacement around the world, and connects them with support where they are. Through emergency travel support and post-relocation assistance, Rainbow Railroad provides comprehensive support programs, including mobilization of volunteer teams in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Palm Springs.

This Zoom session will offer practical ways to get involved locally—whether by joining a supporting a TurnOut community event or by forming a Rainbow Railroad Community Support Team (CST).
