AIDS/LifeCycle 2024
AIDS/LifeCycle is a 7 day, 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles.

Co-produced by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center, AIDS/LifeCycle advances these agencies’ shared interest in reducing new HIV infections and improving the quality of life for people living with HIV/AIDS.

Write Birthday Cards for Oasis’ Clients
Write Birthday Cards for Oasis’ Clients
Oasis’ team is excited to announce their first Bay Area community event of 2024 on February 24th! Join them in celebrating their wonderful clients by writing and decorating birthday cards for them. This is an opportunity to meet others from the Oasis community and expand your network.
The luncheon is an indoor gathering so up-to-date vaccinations are highly encouraged; windows may be opened to allow for airflow and air filters will be placed throughout the space. Delicious food and drinks (and, of course, plenty of art supplies!) will be provided. This event is free and open to you and up to two guests. They can’t wait to reconnect and meet new faces in the community!
When: February 24, 2024, from 12:00pm to 1:30pm
Where: 1951 Coffee Company, 2410 Channing Way, Berkeley, CA 94704

TurnOut’s Volunteer Captains Program
TurnOut’s Volunteer Captains Program
TurnOut’s Volunteer Captains Program is a way for volunteers to get more involved in Queer and Trans volunteer and recruitment events. It is also a great way to meet other passionate Queer and Trans volunteers in the community!
The role of a Volunteer Captain is to provide guidance and support to TurnOut’s volunteers on site at an event. Volunteer Captains also attend events to recruit volunteers and mobilize the LGBTQIA+ community with TurnOut. The commitment involves completing a series of training videos and quizzes, attending our virtual monthly meetings, and attending one monthly volunteer or recruitment event in person.
Note: Folks who are interested in this program will first attend an informational meeting to learn more & decide if this program is a good fit for them. No commitments are required if you attend an informational meeting. Informational meetings happen on the same day as Captains meetings from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.
