Dining Out For Life SD: Dine Out. End HIV.
Dining Out for Life Ambassadors (DOFL) San Diego are placed at participating restaurants that commit to donating a percentage (25%-100%) of their sales on that day to The Center. 100% of the funds raised go to HIV services and prevention programs at The Center.
The role of the ambassador is to approach diners and share information about Dining Out for Life San Diego and the prizes diners can win simply by filling out a donation envelope or donating via the QR code. Volunteers will also be giving diners an “I Dined!” sticker.
DOFL takes place on Thursday, April 25th and there are three shifts – breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The timeframes are roughly 7am – 11am, 11am – 3pm, and 5pm – 8/9pm. The biggest need being the evening shift.
*All volunteers must attend one of their one-hour in-person training.
*Please Note: All volunteers must sign up on Dining Out For Life’s form sent to their email after completing TurnOut’s signup below! Please be sure to complete that next step.
