G4G San Diego + I Love A Clean San Diego

Let’s celebrate Earth Week! Join Gay for Good as they partner with I Love a Clean San Diego for the annual Creek to Bay Clean Up. The Creek to Bay Cleanup shares the honor with Coastal Cleanup Day as one of the largest single-day environmental action events in San Diego County. This is a great opportunity to give back to our environment and our community!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EVERY VOLUNTEER TO KNOW:

• EVENT DATE: Saturday, April 20

• TIME: 9:00am to 12:00pm (arrive by 8:45am)

• LOCATION: 7007 Friars Road, San Diego CA 92108

• MEETING LOCATION: Mission Valley – San Diego River (C2B 2024)

• PARKING: Parking is available at the location. Park and meet in the uncovered parking lot on the corner of Avenida del Rio and Hazard Center Dr., located in the southeast corner of the Fashion Valley Mall. This parking lot is at the corner of Bloomingdale’s.

• Volunteers are encouraged to carpool.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• Casual and comfortable clothing

• Closed toe shoes are required

• Don’t forget sunscreen and/or a hat for sun protection

• Bring a water bottle or two and a snack

• Feel free to bring work gloves and a bucket

• Limited to 35 volunteers

• COVID Guidelines: If you or a member of your household has shown any signs/symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you refrain from volunteering at this time.
